Foundation Silent Auction Items for Annual Conference & Exposition
Located at the Foundation Booth on the second floor of the Convention Center, both the Silent Auction and the very entertaining Live Auction will once again offer fellowship and fun. The booth is open Sunday through Tuesday with the Silent Auction occurring on Monday from 4:00-4:30 p.m., and the Live Auction on Tuesday from 3:00-3:30 p.m.

Campus Housing Departments React to H1N1 Flu Reports
With suspected and confirmed cases of swine flu being reported on college campuses, many schools are instituting precautionary measures. ACUHO-I has collected a list of resources and is following the story on its news blog. National Housing Training Institute (NHTI) Finalist Campuses Announced
Five finalists have been named to host the ACUHO-I James C. Grimm National Housing Training Institute from 2011-2015. The following were chosen from 16 campuses that submitted proposals. The finalists will present to the selection team in June 2009. “We are pleased to have so many institutions come forward willing to support the institute. This is a testament to the dedication of the profession to the career development, mentoring, and professional success of our newer professionals," says Michael Schultz ACUHO-I President-Elect and chair of the transition selection committee.

Journal Receives 2009 SNAP Award
The Journal of College and University Student Housing received a GOLD award in the "Scholarly Journals-Most Improved" category for the Society of National Association Publications' (SNAP) 29th Annual EXCEL Awards, recognizing the best and the brightest in association media and publishing.
