ACUHO-I Awards and Criteria
The ACUHO-I Award
The ACUHO-I Award constitutes the highest recognition by the Association of a person (member) who has made an outstanding contribution to ACUHO-I and the field of housing and food service. Presented only after a person has retired or left the housing and food service field, the award is presented at the ACUHO-I annual conference. The award is intended to truly recognize distinguished service to ACUHO-I or through ACUHO-I contacts to the field of student housing and food service.

Presidential Service Awards
Each year the ACUHO-I president presents two awards at the annual conference. One is given to an individual who has contributed much to the association and profession and has done so with a minimum of recognition, acting as an "unsung hero." The second award is to a member institution that has provided exceptional support to ACUHO-I over the years.
Previous winners
Preference will be given to nominees who are non-U.S. members; however, U.S. members who have made significant contributions to the internationalisation of ACUHO-I may also be considered. Nominees may not be current committee members or board officers.
The Herstory Award
This award honors the past Women Presidents of ACUHO-I and is presented to recognize an outstanding woman professional who has served the housing profession through courage, leadership, forging new paths as pioneers, honor, and commitment. This award is meant to recognize our past, celebrate our future, and encourage more women to lead our Association.
