June 11-19, 2008

The pre-conference study tour is now full.

Explore regions of the southern United States as a participant in the 2008 ACUHO-I International Study Tour June 11-19, 2008. You will visit nine campuses ranging from large, public research institutions to smaller, private colleges. Included will be a stop at the largest, private women's college in the southern United States, as well as a tour of a small college where students work for the institution in order to graduate.

ACUHO-I study tour participants will explore North Carolina by visiting the following college campuses:

Participants will visit the Biltmore Estate, an 8,000-acre estate featuring the largest residential home in American architectural history, explore the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, visit Wrightsville Beach, tour the USS North Carolina battleship, and also take in a Durham Bulls minor league baseball game.

Registration is limited to 20 participants, (all ACUHO-I members are eligible, though priority is given to attendees from outside the United States) so register now.

The tour cost of $400 per person includes one or two meals per day, lodging the evenings of June 10-19, transportation, some excursions, and transportation from Raleigh, North Carolina to the ACUHO-I Annual Conference and Exposition in Orlando on June 20. Participants should plan for their own accommodations in Orlando during the conference beginning June 20.

Come meet fellow international delegates and witness firsthand the rich history and higher education diversity of the state of North Carolina. For more details about the study tour, please contact the tour coordinator, Shay Little, at 706.542.8314.
