Make sure your housing program is reaching its full potential

July 5-7, 2012, in Anaheim, California

The ACUHO-I Professional Standards Institute provides a rewarding opportunity for individuals to work with senior professionals to improve their knowledge and application of the ACUHO-I Standards and Ethical Principles for College and University Housing Professionals. Participants in the PSI will experience a great opportunity for professional and career development while gaining valuable knowledge.

PSI participants spend time living and working on a host campus and participating in classroom instruction, group work, and a mock external review of the host campus's housing program.

The institute is designed to provide participants with:

  • Exposure to and an understanding of the ACUHO-I Standards
  • The use of the ACUHO-I Self- Assessment Guide
  • How to conduct an internal departmental self-review
  • How to prepare for an departmental external review
  • How to serve as an external reviewer

The latest ACUHO-I Professional Standards Institute was offered as a pre-conference to the 2010 ACUHO-I Annual Conference and Exposition in Austin, Texas. By participating in the Professional Standards Institute participants gained further understanding of the ACUHO-I professional standards.
