ACUHO-I 2009 China Study Tour, January 1-10, 2009

There is no application process and you may register for either the study tour and/or the Global Housing Summit. Individuals may register for the Study Tour without registering for the Global Housing Summit and vice versa.

The tour will take participants to college and university campuses across China including the cities of Guangzhou, Guiyang, Beijing, and Shanghai. The study tour will be an incredible opportunity to experience and develop an understanding of the structure and practice of higher education in different regions of China. The tour will offer a mix of campus visits and meetings with students and educators as well as a number of opportunities to experience the culture, sights, and history of the country.

Serving as faculty leader on the study tour will be Dr. Howard Wang, the associate vice president for Student Affairs at California State University, Fullerton. With more than 20 years experience in student affairs, he has also traveled to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Japan as a consultant to provide training to university student affairs personnel there.

The number of attendees for the study tour will be limited to 20.
