The institute is held every two years and is limited to only 25 registrants, don't miss your opportunity to participate.

Registration includes: Accommodations, meals, and transportation from the hotel to the institute retreat center and from the institute to the airport.  Anticipated registration will be $890, pending finance committee approval in October 2009.

The Chief Housing Officer Institute provides educational and networking opportunity for early career and experienced chief housing officers (CHOs), including in-depth analysis of major issues affecting housing operations.

The content areas covered in 2008 were: master planning, budgeting, construction and renovation planning, academic initiatives, assessment and evaluation, organizational leadership and campus politics, and faculty mentoring.  Each year the institute committee selects the focus of the institute curriculum using feedback from members, the CHO competency profile, and the current higher education climate.  Final curriculum will be announced in advance of registration opening.
