Prepare for your professional future at the Chief Housing Officer Training Institute

The Chief Housing Officer Training Institute provides training for early career and experienced chief housing officers (CHOs), including in-depth analysis of major issues affecting housing operations. Two tracks are available: one for CHOs with up to five year of experience, and a second for CHOs with more than five years of experience.

These content areas will be covered during the institute: master planning, budgeting, construction and renovation planning, academic initiatives, assessment and evaluation, organizational leadership and campus politics, and faculty mentoring.

After completing the CHO Institute, travel 90 minutes to St. Petersburg where The 21st Century Design Competition and Product Showcase is being held. The CHO Institute concludes January 30 and the 21st Century Project event begins the morning of February 1.

After you complete your online registration for the Chief Housing Officer Institute you will have the opportunity to register for the 21st Century Project Design Competition.

All cancellations of conference registration, purchase of meals, and special events, received by the Central Office before 5:00 pm (Eastern), December 27, 2007 will be honored and processed within 10 business days, less a $75 processing fee.

Cancellations received after December 27, 2007 will not be granted except in emergency circumstances and will be refunded at the discretion of the Executive Director or Treasurer, less any expenses incurred by ACUHO-I. No refunds for no-shows. Delegates assume responsibility for notification to and verification of receipt by ACUHO-I.
