Parthenon Award
The ACUHO-I Foundation’s most prestigious award, the Parthenon Society, recognizes supreme achievement in the profession, outstanding service, leadership, and contributions to campus housing.
Champions nominate candidates for the Parthenon Society each year. To be considered for this award, candidates must have contributed 10 years of service to the housing, residential life, or affiliated profession and five years of service at the regional or international level of ACUHO-I. If selected, the champion agrees to lead a fundraising process to collect $5,000 on behalf of the nominee.
The reveal of each year’s recipients during Campus Home. LIVE! is always an exciting and emotional moment. The surprised reaction of those honored, combined with the celebration of their friends, families, and colleagues, creates a conference highlight you won’t soon forget.
2026 Parthenon Society
The ACUHO-I Research and Education Foundation inducted five new individuals into the Parthenon Society at the ACUHO-I Campus Home. LIVE! annual conference and expo. The new inductees were Kate Baier, Kawanna Leggett, Gay Perez, Von Stange, and Paul Wuennenberg. These awards are one of the greatest honors a campus housing professional can receive, as champions nominate candidates and then solicit donations to recognize a career filled with contributions. The awards were presented by ACUHO-I Foundation Chair Crystal Lopez accompanied by pre-recorded video tributes highlighting each recipient’s impact. In recognition of this distinguished class, more than 500 gifts were made in their honor. We are proud to celebrate and congratulate the 2026 Parthenon Society inductees for their extraordinary impact on the profession!
ACUHO-I honors the past recipients of the Parthenon Award and continues to thank them for their contributions to the campus housing profession.
