The ACUHO-I Just in Time event series is designed to respond quickly to the emerging issues facing campus housing and student affairs. These focused, face-to-face experiences can be held anywhere and often are scheduled with less than ninety days’ notice in order to bring expert advice to the most critical and time-sensitive issues facing housing and residence life professionals.

How Immigration Developments Are Impacting Campus Community Members: Strategies & Resources for Residential and Campus Life

Residential Life is essential in fostering safety and belonging for immigrant and international students. This session will cover recent immigration developments affecting students and staff, and explore strategies and resources for residential and campus life teams. Topics include campus responses to increased immigration enforcement, support for detained or deported students, shifting international enrollments, complex immigration policies, and employment-based options for noncitizens.
