How long will it take for me to complete my online course?
Every learner is different and will work at a different pace. Some courses require more outside assignments than others (completing a journal, conducting interviews) but in general, you should allow at least 10 hours for a short course and 20 hours for the Certificate in Occupancy Management or Architecture Series course.
Will I have an instructor?
A housing professional(s) authored the courses. Some content has been updated with newer articles or recent changes to practice. There is no instructor monitoring the course or grading assignments. Learners are self-directed and work on their own. There are discussions with other learners that can be accessed anytime during the length of the course. There are also quizzes and exams to assess knowledge of the content.
How long will I have to complete my course?
You will have one (1) year to complete the course from the time of registration. Email learn@acuho-i.org if you need an extension.
What if I change jobs? Will I still have access to my course?
You access the learning platform using the same credentials as your ACUHO-I portal. If you change jobs or want to edit your information, please visit www.acuho-i.org and log into your portal to make changes.
How do I get a certification of completion?
Once you complete your course, a certificate of completion will pop up on your screen. If you need to access the certificate at a later time, you can navigate to your dashboard, select Transcript/Achievements and click on View/Print Certificate.
